| How Can I Send You A Picture? |

You can send us your picture by basically two methods:

Upload Online: You can either upload the picture at the same time when you are placing the order for your personalthrow. This is the recommended method as this is the quickest way to get your pictures to us. But, if you are ordering at a time, when you dont have the picture available to upload, then you can still place the order by selecting, "Upload Later" Option and then later go to http://www.personalthrows.com/upload to upload your digital photograph after the fact. Please ensure to write the order number in the message section of the upload form, when you are using this option.

Send Photo By Mail: In case you do not have a digital version of the picture and you are unable to get the picture scanned to be converted to a digital format. Or you just prefer to send us the picture and take care of it all. You can mail us the picture to us in a photo mailer envelop once you have placed the order on the internet or over the phone. Thus noting the order number on the envelop and preferebly on the back of the picture. Once we recieve the picture in the mail, we will scan it and start processing your personalthrow order. We also have a mail-in order form if you prefer not to use the internet or the phone to order, and like to do it all by mail. Please contact customer service at 1-866-678-6933 (toll free) to request an order kit to be mailed to you.

We highly recommend that you do not send us the pictures by email as they are many times lost in spam and quality of pictures are sometimes degraded due to the mailing service used. | How Do I Order One? |

Step 1: Pick Your Photograph
You can use any photo you'd like - but remember that the better the photo, the better the finished PictureWeave product. We have a few suggestions, listed below:
- SIZE: Any photo will work. We prefer photos larger than 5x7. For digital photographs, please make sure that they were taken by a 1 megapixel or better camera.
- CONTRAST: A high contrast photo works the best. A black dog on a black couch in a dark room will not yield the best results. Conversely, a white dog in the snow will not work well, either. If your main subject is brightly lit and the background is somewhat dark, the results will be brilliant! Please avoid dark shadows on the face or subject.
- FOCUS: Make sure your subject is sharp. The better the focus, the better the final piece will be.
- COLOR: We can use black and white or color.
- COMPOSITION: Keep it simple. Make sure that your subject occupies 60-80% of the photo. This is not an absolute necessity, but it will make for a better finished piece.
- Creative cropping of your photo will result in a better composition, and ultimately, a better finished piece. If you would like us to crop your photo to best show the subject matter, please indicate so when you place your order.
Step 2: Order Online
Ordering Process
PersonalThrows online ordering process is very simple. You shall find instructions on each page as to what you are required to do! Just pick the right product, upload the digital picture on the product page itself and then click on 'Add To Cart' button. As you wait for the next page to appear on screen, your image files shall have uploaded on our image servers. The Image upload time varies depending on the file size.
If you do not have the image in digital format at the time of ordering, just add to cart without uploading any image. After completing your order, you can mail ( picture or CD) or email the picture(s) with your unique assigned order number as per your convenience. You can also choose to upload the picture(s) at a later time at our special upload page: www.PersonalThrows.com/upload
Next two pages shall take you through the order completion process step-by-step where you shall have to enter your shipping address followed by your billing address and your payment information. We accept Visa and Mastercard as credit cards. You can also pay via Paypal, who we have entrusted as our partner to process payments from our customers to us securely. After you enter your information through our easy navigable order pages, you can check all the information once again on the final page before hitting the SUBMIT button. Please make sure to enter the SUBMIT button to submit the order form to PersonalThrows. Check your email for an order confirmation receipt from PersonalThrows which shall contain all the ordering information. In case, you do not receive the receipt with in an hour, email us and we shall issue a replacement receipt and email it right away. We take pride in our helpful customer service, so do not hesitate to contact us whenever you have questions and concerns. We have also incorporated a comments section in the ordering pages so that you can communicate any special requests , deadlines or questions to us while ordering!
Mail-In Picture/CD orders:
If you're going to mail in your picture, fill in all your personalization, shipping and payment information to complete the order. Just state in the comment section that the picture will be mailed to us. You can mail the picture to either our US office or Canadian Office depending on your preference. The address for both are stated below. Once we receive the pictures, we will scan the picture optimally for you. Please make sure you package the picture for shipment such that they do not get destroyed. You can also use this method if you cannot upload the digital picture and would like to send us the picture on a CD.

The method where customers upload the picture is the fastest method of sending us the picture you want us to weave into the picture afghan. As noted earlier you can use the online ordering form and upload the picture right there. Your picture will be attached to the order that we receive and we can process the order right away . If you are scanning your pictures and uploading on the website, please make sure you scan your pictures at 300DPI. Anytime you need any assitance you can call our customer support center toll free 1-866-678-6933. One of our friendly customer service staff member will be happy to assist you. A picture of size less than 150kB is probably going to be rejected by out Art Dept. because of our quality standards. All the images are given individual attention by our Art team to ensure they meet our standards of quality before sending the image to production. We shall duly contact you should your picture is not optimal.
Step 3: Receive Your Beautiful Picture Blanket In about 4 - 6 weeks, you'll be receiving your new, 100% cotton heirloom, depending on the time of the year you placed your order. If you do not receive your personalthrow product after 6 weeks, please click here to contact us, and we'll track your shipment.
All our color woven photo throws are 100% cotton and the knitted throws are made from heavy Amulux yarn. Both are highly durable. The colors won't fade like printed materials, but we do suggest that you machine wash on gentle or hand wash, and tumble dry on low. You can expect a lifetime of beauty and vibrant colors from your Personal Throw. |

How long will it take to get my order at my doorstep?
Designing, customizing and manufacturing of your custom products is performed on a strict schedule. If we see there may be some unexpected delay, we will notify you via email. PersonalThrows.com assures you we will do everything we can to make your shopping experience with us a pleasant one. Also add another 1-6 days for the shipping of your product. All regular shipping orders are shipped via UPS/FEDEX Ground. Exact delivery time will vary depending on the shipping destination. Click on "See Map" for your state and delivery time.

Can you ship to a PO Box Address in USA?
No, as all our orders in USA are shipped via UPS or FEDEX, we require a valid UPS address to deliver to. UPS / FEDEX do not deliver to PO Boxes. Every residence in USA has a UPS address. Please call 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877) or 1-800-GO-FEDEX for more details.
